We are a genuine, authentic community building relationships with people where and as we find them. Everyone is welcomed here – whatever your gender or generation or orientation, wherever you have been or are yet to be, whatever you have done or left undone, Jesus loves you and so do we.
Congratulations to the Flutissimo Flute Choir. They will be making their 8th appearance at the National Flute Convention in August in San Antonio. This is a great honor. They won the opportunity to perform via audition.
Wednesday Bible Study: First Corinthians
Beginning on Wednesday, March 20, we begin a new Bible Study at 10:00 a.m. called First Corinthians: Living Love When we Disagree by Melissa Spoelstra. Bible Study books cost $10 and will be available in the church office.
Burgers and Bingo On Friday, April 19, we are hosting a Burgers and Bingo Night at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center at St. Paul Hurst UMC, featuring a free dinner, prizes, and an awesome guest DJ and Bingo caller! We will serve burgers, sides, and desserts, and enjoy a fun and friendly competition of Bingo together. Our Family Ministries is hosting this outreach event, and all ages are welcome and invited to join!
Original Olive Wood
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 24th 5:00 – 7:00 pm. We welcome Jacob, who will be bringing olive wood religious articles that have been handcrafted in Bethlehem. The sale of these items assist in the support of his community in Bethlehem. This is a one time only opportunity, I hope you will be able to take advantage of it.
Forgiveness Worship Series
Forgiveness is a central message of Jesus, yet it is often super hard to practice in real life. In this three-week worship series beginning on Sunday, April 14, we will talk about what Jesus teaches about forgiveness and how we can practice it in our daily lives- regardless of whether it is easy or difficult, the other person deserves it or not, or whether or not they apologize.

Wonderful Wednesdays
5:30-7:30 pm. Bring your little ones (3mos. to 5th grade) to the nursery for the new and exciting curriculum made just for this age group. While your little one/ones is in the good hands of our Ministry Safe Adults, you can focus on the faith discussion at “The Table” or Youth Group (6th – 12th grade) or Choir Rehearsal. Wednesday, April 24th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. In the fellowship Hall. All are welcome to join us for this weekly home cooked meal and faith discussion. We will continue our conversation on Forgiveness.
The menu will be, “More Please” (spaghetti casserole), bread, salad and desserts.

Table Cooks Needed
To continue this important intergenerational ministry, we are in need of cooks to prepare meals. If you are willing to prepare a meal either one time or on a monthly basis please contact Church Office (817-284-7181).
Please know that meals can be simple meals like Dominoes pizza, Risky’s BBQ sandwiches, and Braum’s burgers ($5 for 5 burgers), and the church covers the cost of the food. Thank you for your help!
Theater Of Hopes upcoming production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. Tickets are currently on sale now and are $18.00 for adult tickets and $15.00 for kid’s tickets. We will have three performances one is May 10th at 7 PM, May 11 at 11 AM, and the third is on May 11th @ 5 PM. You can get tickets online at theaterofhope.org or at the door while tickets are still available.
